traveler.assets.extract_zst(archive, out_path)[source]#

Extract a Zstandard-compressed tar archive.

Parameters:

  • archive (pathlib.Path or str) – .tar.zst file to extract.

  • out_path (pathlib.Path or str) – Directory to receive the extracted files.

Returns:

Shared top-level directory from the archive, or out_path when the archive has multiple roots.

Return type:

pathlib.Path
