Convenience utilities for downloading and preparing remote model assets.

This package supports examples, tests, and documentation that need data from remote sources. Normal Traveler model input from local files belongs in traveler.io.

Functions

compress_zst(in_path, archive)	Compress a directory into a .tar.zst file.
csv_to_parquet(csv_filepath, parquet_filepath)	Convert a CSV asset to Parquet using Polars.
display_sha256_checksums([directory])	Print SHA-256 checksums for every file below a directory.
download_asset(url, target_path[, sha256, ...])	Download an asset, optionally caching, linking, and extracting it.
extract_archive(archive, out_path)	Extract a supported archive and return its content directory.
extract_zst(archive, out_path)	Extract a Zstandard-compressed tar archive.
sha256_checksum(filename[, block_size])	Compute the SHA-256 checksum of a file.
